What the pass includes
Your pass includes 60 job ads per 30 days and 100 fix suggestions (300 on the 90-Day Smash Pass). Adding a new job ad uses one job ad. Each fix suggestion, cover letter or weakest-lines check uses one suggestion. Rating updated versions of your CV, and watching the meters move as you try wording, are unlimited.
We warn you at 80% of either limit and never stop you mid-edit. If you buy another pass while one is active, the new one starts when the current one ends.
Questions
What counts as a job ad?
Adding a job ad, from a link or pasted, uses one. It comes with one rating of your CV. Rating the same CV again is free. Without a pass, rating an updated CV against the same job uses another job ad, as if you added the job again. With a pass, rating updated versions is unlimited.
What is a fix suggestion?
When a meter is low, a fix suggestion either rewords what your CV already says so it shows more clearly, or asks what's missing and writes a line from your answer. It goes on your change list for that job: where it goes in your CV, words to find with your app's search, and the new wording with a Copy button, so you can paste it into your own document. It never invents experience. Check every suggestion before you use it.
Can I download my CV from SmashTheJob?
No. Your CV stays in your own Word, Google Docs, Pages or Canva file, so your layout is never lost. SmashTheJob shows you what to change; you make the changes in your own document and rate the new version to see what moved.
What happens when my pass ends?
Nothing to cancel. You go back to the free allowance. Your saved history is kept for 90 days after the pass ends, then deleted. You can buy another pass at any time.
Can I get a refund?
Within 14 days of purchase you can cancel for a full refund if you have not added a job advert or used a suggestion on the pass. If you have, we refund the unused portion of the pass pro rata by days. Email [email protected] from your account address. The terms have the details.
Does a high score mean I will get the job?
No. The score describes how clearly your CV shows something the job ad asks for. It is not a prediction of how likely you are to get an interview or the job.
What about VAT and other currencies?
Prices are what you pay; VAT is included where it applies. You can pay in pounds, dollars or euros: pick one above and checkout uses it. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.
