Score your CV against the job you want.

A score out of 10 for this job, a meter for each thing it asks for, and your biggest gaps. You’ll need the job advert you’re applying for, and your CV.

Score your first advert free. If it doesn’t show you something you’d have missed, don’t buy.

Free: your first job advert, with one rating of your CV.

A real rating of a sample CV: Sofia, a made-up restaurant supervisor, against an operations manager advert

Questions

What do I need?

Your CV (a PDF or Word file, or its text) and the job advert you’re applying for. Paste the advert, add its link, or add screenshots of it from the job app.

How is the score worked out?

Each thing the advert asks for gets a meter from 1 to 10 for how clearly your CV shows it. Must-haves count for more than nice-to-haves. The score out of 10 sums them up.

Why do you need the job advert?

Every job asks for different things. A CV that’s right for one job can miss what the next one asks for. We read what this advert asks for and check your CV for each thing.

Is it free?

Your first job advert is free: one rating of your CV, your biggest gaps, and your first fix. After that, a Smash Pass is paid once, with no subscription. See passes.

Do you change my CV?

No. We show what’s missing and suggest wording for you to copy into your own CV, in Word, Google Docs or wherever you keep it. We never make up experience you don’t have.
